PARKKING
Restaurant club in St. Petersburg
Total area 1200 m2

Ingenuity has been made the corner-stone of the project of ParkKing Restaurant club in Alexander Park in St. Petersburg. Seven barmen serve behind a 25 meter long bar-counter. Two dance-floors and an orient-influenced chillout are located downstairs. Upstairs is a VIP room, a banquet room, an office area; the rest of the space is a large hall. Stone, wood and metal are used in the d?cor. Supporting columns at the first level are disguised as trees. Deliberately rough wooden furniture makes a perfect match to stone wall and ceiling finish, an excellent background for bronze chandeliers. The interior has been created purely with art means in industrial and post-modernist spirit. A variety of different patterns on the ceiling has been employed: a collage of newspapers in the second dance room, a construction of metal and metal-coated textiles around the bar.
